    Were Darwinian Polymers the first life on Earth, and how did they lead to modern life?


    The goal of this site is to develop a Darwinian Polymer Model (DPM) for the origin of life and to encourage further research. The model begins with naturally-occurring (non-living) chemicals and ends with modern cellular life. 

    The DPM was first presented in the book "Darwin's Dream" by Brian Pontius (2008), which can be read online at Google Books.

    Guideposts include logical analysis, chemistry, evolution, and knowledge about modern living things and the world in which they live.
