The Darwinian Polymer Model
A model for the origin of life
tool

The Darwinian Polymer Model is a tool to learn about

                                         the origin of Earthly life

All modern life forms share common chemical features (such as DNA, RNA and protein). These common features suggest that all modern life may have developed similarly.

If a reasonable chemical model can be found that explains why and how these common features developed, it is reasonable to think the model represents the true origin of life. Unless, of course, a better model comes along.

By developing the Darwinian Polymer Model (and comparing it to other models), it should be possible to uncover the most likely path for the origin of Earthly life.
